Combination skin

As the name suggests, you may have more than one skin type on your skin. There are usually distinct areas on your skin where the skin types differ.

Some areas of the skin may be dry, while others are oily.

You may also find that some areas are well balanced while others could either be dry or oily.

If four or more of these statements apply to you, you have a combination skin type:

• The skin is usually oilier on the ‘T-Zone’, which is the forehead and the area down the centre of the face, including the nose and chin.
• There may be larger pores on the ‘T-Zone’.
• An oilier ‘T-Zone is more prone to blackheads and pustules.
• The skin looks and feels rough over the ‘T-Zone
• The cheeks are balanced and show the characteristics of well-balanced skin.
• The cheeks are dry and show the characteristics of dry skin.
